The Assessor's Office comes under the direct supervision of a three member, elected Board of Assessor's. This office is mainly responsible for assessing of property both real and personal. Calculation of the tax rate and creation of tax commitments is also an important function of the Assessor's Office. Applications for Abatements and Exemptions are filed with this office.
