PBS Kids- This site has a cool "Did You Know?" area that you are sure to love. The "Fun and Games" section has a joke machine with silly jokes. There are even sections of this site for different PBS kid shows that you can look at with your little brother or sister.
FEMA for Kids- This site teaches you how to be prepared for disasters and how you can prevent disasters by taking action now! You can also learn what causes disasters, play games, read stories and become a Disaster Action Kid.
Kids @ National Geographic- Learn an amazing fact or create your own cartoon. The site is updated monthly and includes all kinds of fun activities. It has great articles about different kinds of animals too. This is a great site for creative and curious girls like you!
Your Expedition- After more than 1,300 miles and 64 days of skiing and ski-sailing, Ann Bancroft and Liv Arnesen arrived safely at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station on January 16. They stopped briefly for supplies and a warm meal before setting out on the final 900 miles to McMurdo Station and the completion of the first non-motorized crossing of Antarctica by women. You can follow the adventures of these Sheroes at this cool Web site.
