Our "Teen Zone" support group is especially designed for young people, in grades eight on up, that meets weekly to discuss a variety of issues important to young people today. Topics include: self-esteem and how to get it!; safe-guarding physical, emotional and sexual safety; meditation; games; eating, guest speakers and humorous topics. Teen Zone meets on Mondays* from 2:45 - 4:30 p.m. throughout the school year and on specified times during the summer school vacation.
A support group for teens in one name or another, has been meeting in Dartmouth for twenty five years. Teen Zone is facilitated by Kevin Lee, Youth Advocate. Meetings are held in the Youth Advocate's Office, room 118, Town Hall, Dartmouth. We meet almost every Monday, except Monday holidays.
Interested? You can view the Teen Zone Sign-up form online, print it out, fill it in and drop it off at my office. Or, send your info to me in an email. Whichever is easier.
