Responsibilities
The Collector's Office is responsible for the collection of all monies due the Town; such as all Town tax bills, including real estate, personal property, auto excise, boat excise and utility bills including betterments and Title V water or sewer betterments.

The Collector's Office is also responsible for parking tickets, launching permits, waterways receipts, Municipal Liens, and sewer releases.

The Office accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Debit cards (2% fee for Credit card transactions, only).

Online Bill Payment
The Town of Dartmouth offers online bill payment through MCC eBill.  Payments may be made via ACH (electronic checking) or by Credit Card.  There is a fee for this service.

Water/Sewer bills
Trash

Only current bills may be paid online.  If the Due Date for timely payment has passed, you will not be able to pay your bill online.



What are the costs?
ACH (ELECTRONIC TRANSFER): Pay Dartmouth directly from your Checking or Savings Account.  Each bill paid is considered a separate transaction and a service charge of $0.25 per bill will be processed separately for each payment. If you have a special account you plan to use, make sure you take these charges into consideration.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS: We accept MasterCard®, Discover®, American Express® and VISA®*. If you are using a Debit Card, it will be treated as a credit card payment and will have the same charges associated with credit card payments.  * VISA is available for Tax Payments only.  The convenience fee for using a credit card is approximately 3% of the payment, except for payments under $100 where the convenience fee will range from approximately 1 to 4 dollars.* * Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
A Payment Calculator is located at the bottom of the Registration page.  You do not need to register to use the Payment Calculator simply click the Signup link, select Dartmouth as your biller and  scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Show Payment Calculator”.  Select your Payment Type and enter the amount of your payment to Calculate the Fee.

*      Municipal liens, sewer release, waterway fees, mooring fees, launching permits, income tax research, parking tickets, pay all town receipts for every department, sewer and water tie-in fees, betterments, tax takings, bankruptcy notices.
