Captain Malibu was formed in the summer of 2010 by Mitchell Cardoza, lead guitar/vocals, Nathan Marmelo, bass/lyrics and Nick Carreiro on drums. They play an eclectic mix including rock, reggae, funk, R&B, Hip Hop and SKA. They can be heard locally at the Pour Farm, Rose Alley Ale House, Knuckleheads, Dublin’s, Busters, Cork Wine Bar and the Sail Loft.
Brian Maes Band features 3 former members of Ernie and the Automatics. The band has toured in support of Deep Purple, Eddy Money, Pat Benatar, Foreigner and many more. Brian Maes wrote the 1992 #26 Billboard chart hit “Until Your Love Comes Back Around For The Band RTZ”. The sax player, Michael “Tunes) Antunes co-star of the movie “Eddie and the Cruisers”, is a member of the John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band.
Murphy’s Law is a local classic rock band. All four members have been playing the local circuit for over 25 years in various bands. Tim McKenna, bass and lead vocals, Tony Moniz, keyboards and vocals, Mike Murphy, lead guitar and vocals and Kevin Madeira, drums. They play high energy classic rock n’ roll covering the best of Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, etc.
GQ and the Lady is a six piece band that performs a wide range of music from R & B, Pop, Rock and Country. For a night of great music and superb vocal talent GQ and the Lady will get the party rocking!
From Montreal to West Virginia and everywhere in between “Scarab…The Journey Experience”, is the closest re-creation you will see to the supergroup of the 70’s and 80’s. An absolutely dynamic stage show with all the sights, sounds and songs that had over 3,000 people singing along to at Umass Dartmouth last summer. Come experience Scarab and “Don’t Stop Believing”.
Over the Edge is a finely tuned, female fronted 4-piece electric party band based in New Bedford, They have rock roots and have recently branched out to cover all genres of music, thus making them a favorite live act for anyone who loves music. We are sure to bring you and experience like nobody else can. Our number one goal is to entertain the masses with our diversity.
Steel Dreams a Fall River based 5 piece classic rock band that plays the best of the 60’s thru the 90’s with a touch of new music. Formed of seasoned musicians from some of the well-known East Coast bands, they can be heard at area night clubs in MA and RI as well as many fundraiser benefits. Steel Dreams play high energy music sure to get you moving!
King’s Row was named “New England’s #1 Oldies Band” by radio B101.5 Providence; for three consecutive years. Celebrating their “30th” year in show business, the four members continue to impress fans and listeners with their unmistakable and smooth 4-part harmonies. Performing songs from the 50’s -70’s gives any audience an opportunity to appreciate King’s Row’s special sound.
Batteries Not Included is a six-piece band made up of some local talent. Batteries Not Included performs radio top 40 hits from the last three decades of Gloria Gaynor to BonJovi; Whitesnake toMaroon 5, Train, etc. They can be seen from New Bedford hotspots to Rhode Island favorites and at many weddings and functions. Batteries Not Included will satisfy the tastes of a young radio listener to the older music lover without a problem.
Living on a Bad Name is a Bon Jovi tribute act featuring recording artist Ethan Brosh of Magna Carta Records. Ethan is the lead guitarist. Jon Bon Jovi is played by local radio personality Ken Pittman of WBSM. Ken’s son Keith rocks on the drums and is currently a sophmore in the DHS band.
Headcase is Southern New England’s dance rock party band. This five-piece band of veteran musicians has a dynamic sound that features vocal harmonies, keyboards, and tight arrangements. Playing favorites from the 70’s, 80’s 90’s and 2K, Headcase bring the party to you!
Winner of Limelight Magazine’s 2010 male vocalist of the year award, Craig DeMelo (a/k/a The Whiskey Poet) has made a name for himself in New England and beyond as a versatile, passionate, and eclectic singer/songwriter, who can spin a ballad, paint a picture, blast out a rock song, or even freestyle. He has been playing stages with his five member band from coast-to-coast since 2002 and opened for several National Acts in recent years.
Wild Nites is a seven piece outfit, including “the C&B horns”. Based out of Fall River, their repertoire includes Top 40, dance, classic to modern rock, rhythm and blues and funk. The band is comprised not only of outstanding musicians, but friends, whose relationship and fun together carries into their audience.
Zoo 22 is a four-piece local cover band playing alternative rock hits from the 80’s to present. They are a high energy band that possess a fun, friendly stage presence to keep everyone of all ages dancing and singing along. Zoo 22 can be seen at many local venues and outings in the surrounding area. You can also check them out on Facebook!
