A NEW HOME FOR DARTMOUTH RECREATION !
In July of 2009, the town renovated the old Smith Neck School and relocated the recreation department from its existing site at the old town hall. As a result of the move this little school house on Smith Neck Road is now host to a variety of recreational programs throughout the year. While the center is still in the early stages of development, it is already utilized for a variety of Spring, Summer and Fall recreation programs for youth and adults. Additionally, the new site doubles during the summer months as an alternative location for our Apponagansett Playground/Swim Center when rain is in the forcast. The Dartmouth Recreation Center is located at 487 Smith Neck Road.
