The DCTV studio is equipped with a full-size studio and control room. Our playback system for on air cablecasting is suited with Tightrope Media Systems. This system gives the viewer the capability to see live streaming of channel 18 and also in the future will accommodate web based on demand programming. DCTV uses three non-linear editing systems to edit our high-quality production by using CS4 - Adobe Premiere Pro, After-Effects, Photoshop, Audition and Encore DVD.
An additional studio is located in the John Marland Meeting Room at Dartmouth Town Hall, which is equipped with a four-camera robotic system.
Interns from UMass Dartmouth and Dartmouth Public Schools have the opportunity to work in our fully equipped production truck. The truck was designed as a teaching facility and includes a 24 channel audio board, 16 channel video board, 2 replay decks, 2 streams of graphics and three JVC cameras.
