DPW Administration Division

The Department of Public Works Administration Division is responsible for management of several divisions within the DPW, including Engineering, Services & Infrastructure, Water & Sewer, and Water Pollution Control.

The Administration Division coordinates the department’s activities, develops and monitors the annual budget, prepares project bid specifications, prepares personnel and payroll for the department’s employees, administers the PAYT program and processes all applications for PAYT abatements and discounts, complies with all state and federal regulations, rules, and laws regarding solid waste disposal, landfill closure, water treatment, wastewater treatment, including the submission of all required reports.

It is also responsible for seeking federal and state funds to assist with the town’s public works projects, develops long-range strategic planning, as well as all maintenance work and improvements to the town’s infrastructure, and develops and implements departmental policies.
