Mission Statement

DTC’s mission is to promote the protection, planting and care of trees and forests, as well as to raise awareness of the many benefits that trees have for our community.

In June 2021, a small group of neighbors launched the Dartmouth Tree Committee, largely because trees are such valuable and beautiful natural treasures, and yet they are up against tremendous pressures brought on by human activities. As trees cannot speak, we try to speak and act on their behalf.
