How Funds are Maintained & Disbursed

All donations to the Alvin Glaser Memorial Family Assistance Fund are kept in a special account by the same name and are maintained by the Town Accountant's Office in Dartmouth Town Hall. Before funds are disbursed, the following criteria must be met:

Applicants to the fund must have completed the required Glaser Fund Application Form and submit it to the Dartmouth Youth Commission

Upon receipt, the Glaser Fund Administrator, who is also a Youth Commissioner, and one other Youth Commissioner, review the Application to determine if it meets the Fund Guidelines.

Following a successful review, a voucher to withdraw from the Glaser Fund is submitted to the Town Accountant's Office. If everything is in order the Town Accountant authorizes a check to be made out to the recipient.

The name of all applicants is considered confidential by the Dartmouth Youth Commission.
