Summer Reading - What's happening the week of Monday, June 26 - Thursday, June 29

Monday June 26:

Baby Songs - Southworth Library Storytime Room - 10:00am - 10:30am
Join Miss Christie for songs, fingerplays, bounces, a story, and more.  Play time to follow.  This program is a parent-child sing-along which is best suited for children birth to 2 years of age, but children under 3 years of age are welcome. No registration required.

Kids’ Movie – Lyle, Lyle Crocodile – North Branch Library – 2:30pm – 4:15pm 
Come by the library to check out this week's movie Lyle, Lyle Crocodile. Rated PG. There will be snacks & plenty of seating. Feel free to bring a blanket or pillow if you'd like to get comfortable. No registration required.

Tuesday June 27:

Cactus Head Puppets Program: North Branch Library: 10:00am & Southworth Library: 2:00pm
What can a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster do when they have to leave their farm? Become world famous musicians, of course! CactusHead Puppets brings to life the hilarious tale of four farm animals who set out on the road to Bremen to pursue their dreams of stardom. Along the way, they encounter a fortune, foil some robbers, and learn how to work together in harmony. This production features lovable rod puppets, elaborate shadow scenes, and CactusHead puppets' signature sense of humor.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Dartmouth Public Libraries.  No registration required.

Wednesday June 28:

Plant Slime Craft: North Branch Library: 10:30am & Southworth Library: 2:00pm
Learn about the amazing adaptations of carnivorous plants and mix up plant inspired slime recipes. Best for ages 4 - 10. 
This New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill program is sponsored by the Friends of the Dartmouth Public Libraries.

Thursday June 29:

Storytime - Southworth Library Storytime Room - 11:00am - 11:30am
 
Join Miss Christie for a fun-filled half hour of stories, songs, and more. A different theme each week.  Best for ages 3-5, but younger siblings welcome. No registration required.
