We Now Offer Library To-Go Holds Pickup.

Stories & Songs with a Snow Sister - Video Premiere Tuesday July 28, 2pm and continuing on the Library Facebook Page.

  • LIBRARY TO-GO
Both branches of the Dartmouth Public Library are open for contactless holds pickup. Holds pickup will be offered Monday through Friday between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Click here for details on how it will work. Delivery between libraries has resumed so you can put materials on hold held by other libraries. You will still be able to borrow materials fastest if we own them and they are in on the shelf. Please visit our new books page to see the latest additions of books, videos and audiobooks to our collection. Library staff members are onsite at both branches to answer the phone and make holds available to patrons. However, the buildings will remain closed to the public until further notice.  Only holds pickup and phone service are available at this time
  • NO MUSEUM PASSES ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
In our current stage of reopening, we are not circulating museum passes yet.
  • WIFI AVAILABLE
Our free WiFi is still up and running. You can access it from the parking lot of each branch if you are located close to the building. No password necessary at Southworth Library on 732 Dartmouth St and the password of dartmouth19 gets you on the WiFi at the North Branch Library on 211 Cross Rd.
  • ONLINE RESOURCES & HOW TO VIDEOS
Don't forget we have numerous digital resources that you can use from anywhere with your Dartmouth library card. Visit the Online Resources section of our website to learn more and watch helpful tutorial videos if you are new to using them.
  • BOOK DROPS OPEN
We have opened our book drops back up so you can return items again at your convenience - due dates are still extended until after we completely reopen.
  • NO BOOK DONATIONS PLEASE
The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries are not accepting donations of books, puzzles, CDs, or DVDs. Please do not drop off these materials at the library when it opens.
  • STORYTIME & BABY SONGS ON ZOOM
Join us for Storytime and Baby Songs on Zoom again this September with Miss Christie. Stay tuned for details! Be sure to visit our Facebook Virtual Storytime Page. Can't get enough stories? Join our Southworth Library Virtual Storytime Group and watch recordings of Miss Christie reading stories for children.
  • LIBRARY BUILDING COMMITTEE AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES ZOOM MEETINGS AVAILABLE
